Can buyers request their own data deletion?
Yes. Buyers can request deletion of their personal data directly using our form: Request Data Deletion.
What happens after the request is submitted?
Paddle will process the request and send confirmation to the buyer.
Paddle and you are independent controllers of the buyer data you each hold. This means Paddle can only delete the buyer data held by Paddle. The buyer must contact you separately so that you can delete any of their data that you hold.
Will Paddle keep any data?
Yes. Paddle retains certain transactional data for five years to meet its legal obligations. All other buyer data held by Paddle is deleted.
