Paddle supports software businesses and buyers in most countries and territories. However, restrictions differ depending on whether you are:
- A seller or supplier applying to use Paddle.
- A buyer purchasing or downloading a product sold through Paddle.
In accordance with international sanctions regulations, anti-money laundering requirements, and the policies of our banking and payment partners, the following restrictions apply.
Countries where Paddle cannot support sellers
Paddle cannot support sellers or suppliers operating from:
Afghanistan, Antarctica, Belarus\*, Burma (Myanmar), Central African Republic, Cuba, Crimea (Region of Ukraine), Democratic Republic of Congo, Donetsk (Region of Ukraine), Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Kherson (Region of Ukraine), Libya, Luhansk (Region of Ukraine), Mali, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia\*, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Zaporizhzhia (Region of Ukraine), and Zimbabwe.
Countries and regions where buyer transactions are blocked
Paddle blocks purchases and downloads by buyers located in:
Afghanistan, Antarctica, Belarus\*, Burma (Myanmar), Central African Republic, Cuba, Crimea (Region of Ukraine), Democratic Republic of Congo, Donetsk (Region of Ukraine), Haiti, Iran, Kherson (Region of Ukraine), Libya, Luhansk (Region of Ukraine), Netherlands Antilles, North Korea, Russia\*, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, and Zaporizhzhia (Region of Ukraine).
This means that a country may be unsupported for sellers while purchases from buyers in that country remain supported. For example, Paddle cannot support sellers operating from Iraq, but buyers located in Iraq can make purchases through Paddle.
These lists are subject to change. For risk and compliance purposes, our team may request further information before processing an order or releasing a payment from any location or jurisdiction.
